Princess for a Day, Terms and Conditions

Any order from a customer for wedding cakes, stationery or favours from Princess for a Day is deemed to constitute acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

Electronic Communications

When you visit Princess for a Day or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Copyright

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Princess for a Day. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Princess for a Day. All software used on this site is the property of Princess for a Day or its software suppliers. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any material (such as poems) you ask us to include in your wedding cakes or stationery. You indemnify Princess for a Day against any action brought against it for breach of a third party's copyright.

Trademarks

Princess for a Day's trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not Princess for a Day, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits Princess for a Day. All other trademarks not owned by Princess for a Day that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by Princess for a Day.

Reviews and Comments

Visitors may post reviews, comments, and other content; send e-cards and other communications; and submit suggestions, ideas, comments, questions, or other information, so long as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of "spam." You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of a card or other content. Princess for a Day reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit such content, but does not regularly review posted content.

If you do post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant Princess for a Day a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in any media. You grant Princess for a Day the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify Princess for a Day for all claims resulting from content you supply. Princess for a Day takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party.

Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount is required on placing an order. The balance of the payment is required before the final shipment of your order. Any delay in payment at any stage will result in a delay of your order. We can receive payment by cheque (made payable to Princess for a Day) or on line via PayPal.

Prices

Princess for a Day prices are subject to change without prior notice. Any price increase will not affect any confirmed orders.

Variations

The majority of Princess for a Day wedding items are handmade and so slight variations in colour and materials may occur and therefore may differ slightly from the photographs posted on our website. As many of our wedding items are handmade they may therefore differ slightly from item to item, this is not deemed as faulty.

Sometimes product specifications from our suppliers change, that being the case we will endeavour to offer you an alternative of the same or better quality at the same price as your initial order. If you order wedding items in stages then we cannot guarantee continuity of all design proofs.

Princess for a Day always take care when producing your proofs, however you are totally responsible for the accuracy of the copy proof supplied and for proof-reading all text and copy that Princess for a Day send. You must ensure the proof is exactly as you want it to be before you send us your approval.

Princess for a Day will not begin production of any handmade wedding items until approval of the proofs has been received from the client. Princess for a Day will not be held accountable for any mistakes found after the approval of the copy proof has been sent.

Any delay caused by a failure to respond to proofing items within our timescale could mean a delay in your order being sent or the order cancelled if there is no capacity before your wedding. Once the proof has been confirmed as correct, any amendments will incur a charge.

Please ensure you check and correct any errors in your personal information before you send it to us. This includes people's names, places, times, location and any text used for orders of service. We will print exactly as the document sent.

Ordering Goods

Once an order has been placed we will advise you of a production date for each part of your order advising you when we need the additional information. These dates must be strictly adhered to as we must respect the dates scheduled for our other customers.

Failure to meet these deadlines may result in your order being pushed back several weeks or if it is too close to your wedding the order will be cancelled and we will retain the full balance paid minus the postage for the items not shipped. If we need to cancel an order due to the relevant information not being received and we are unable to fill the space in our diary then we will retain the full balance minus the postage for items not shipped. If work has commenced then we have the right to collect the final payment to cover the costs already incurred.

Delivery

All wedding stationery orders will be sent via Royal Mail recorded delivery or via a courier. A signature will be required to confirm receipt of delivery.

The risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to the customer at the time of delivery, or is the customer wrongfully fails to take delivery of the goods at the time when Bubbly Creations has tendered delivery of the goods

Delivery dates are given as estimates. We cannot, under any circumstances, be held liable for any losses arising due to failure to meet such delivery dates. If you have not received your order, you must notify us as soon as possible.

We cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by any other third party. If for any reason your order is delayed we will always inform you immediately.

Order Amendments

If the customer requires amendments after confirming that the proof is correct and printing of personalised details has already started, then this will incur a charge to incorporate the additional materials and resource invested.

If delivery has already taken place and an amendment is needed to the order, Princess for a Day must receive the original, incorrect stationery before the amendments are made. Postage will be reimbursed if the error is that of Princess for a Day.

Order Cancellation

In the event of any cancellation of a wedding cake or any other handmade wedding item, Princess for a Day has the right to retain the 50% deposit. If we are due to complete your order within six weeks of the cancellation date then the full balance must be paid in full. If the order is cancelled prior to receipt of signed proofs there will be no additional costs other than the 50% deposit already paid.

Returns

The customer shall upon delivery, examine the goods and shall promptly (but in any event within 7 working days of delivery) notify Princess for a Day of any apparent damage, defect or shortage. In default of such written notification, Princess for a Day shall be deemed conclusively to have properly performed its obligations in relation to the purchase and sale of the goods.

If an error/fault is discovered, Princess for a Day must receive the original, incorrect/faulty stationery before the amendments are made. Postage will be reimbursed if the error is that of Princess for a Day.

Health and Safety

Please be aware that due to the small parts on our wedding stationery they are not suitable for young children.
